James Construction Group is a full-service industrial, environmental and heavy civil construction company providing safe, high-quality, schedule-driven construction and maintenance services to a wide range of private and public clients throughout the United States.

JCG is comprised of two operating business units: The Industrial Group and the Heavy Civil Group.  The Industrial Group focuses primarily on private industry clients and the Heavy Civil Group focuses primarily on public sector transportation and infrastructure work.

The private industry customer base is comprised of many of the top petrochemical, refining, pulp and paper, power, and industrial gas companies. The services provided to customers include all phases of construction from site development through mechanical completion and commissioning.

The Heavy Civil Group expertise extends from concrete paving to bridges and complicated structures work.  This group has successfully contracted with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, many state transportation departments, various airport and aviation boards, and numerous local and regional governing bodies.

JCG is an affiliate of Angelo Iafrate Construction Company  (AICC) headquartered in Warren, Michigan.  Iafrate is ranked No. 137 in ENR’s 2004 Top 400 Contractors and No. 44 in the Top 50 Heavy Domestic Contractors.  Combined revenues for all Iafrate Companies exceed $300 million. AICC performs heavy civil, highway, and airport construction.  Iafrate has also performed on numerous sitework projects in the automotive industry for owners such as Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler.
