Safe work performance is a primary value of James
Construction Group. In addition to providing a
rewarding and secure work environment for our
employees, outstanding safety performance lowers claim
costs, improves employee morale, heightens employee
performance levels, and is directly related to the
overall quality of the work performed. Two fundamental
principles have contributed to our safety success: 1)
our belief that all accidents are preventable, and 2)
our commitment that if a work task cannot be performed
safely, we will not attempt the task.
The James Construction Group comprehensive Health & Safety
Program is comprised of an Accident Prevention
Program, a Hazard Communication Program, a Substance Abuse Policy, and Site-Specific Health & Safety Plans
designed to address the specific needs of individual
projects.
Since 1994, JCG has received 17 awards for outstanding
safety performance. These awards were presented to JCG
by industrial owners, Associated Builders &
Contractors, and the Business Roundtable. |
