James Construction Group was awarded the contract to relocate an existing taxiway at the Memphis Shelby County Airport.

Project Scope:

·    Demolishing of existing taxiway by milling 64,141 SY of asphalt pavement

·    Excavating 249,035 CY of material

·    Placement of 92,101 SY 24″ thick soil cement on the subgrade

·    Installation of 17,991 LF of underground pipe system

·    Cement stabilization of base totaling 91,695 SY

·    Installation of 92,101 SY of 4″ porous bituminous asphalt pavement

·    Placement of 88,831 SY of concrete pavement 19″ thick

·    Installation of taxiway lighting
