In August 2004, JCG began work on this multifaceted project in the heart of Central Texas. The work scope involved the following:

·    Laying a 4-lane divided highway

·    Construction of a 3,200 LF bridge

·    Demolition of the existing 3,200 LF bridge

·    Removal and rebuilding of an existing railroad bridge

Construction Activities:

·    192,000 CY of excavation

·    553,000 CY of embankment

·    154,000 SY of lime-treated subgrade

·    41,791 tons of type C hot mix

·    154,532 SY of 10″ continuously reinforced concrete pavement, batched and paved by an onsite JCG portable concrete batch plant
