Alcoa FM 696 Relocation

This project was performed
in the vicinity of Alcoa’s
Three Oaks Mines 5 miles
northeast of Elgin, Texas.
It required JCG to relocate
the existing FM 696 to a new
location to allow Alcoa to
continue its lignite mining
operation. Upon completion,
the road—which was
constructed on Alcoa
property—was deeded to the
Texas DOT.
