James Construction Group was selected to perform the site development, civil, and mechanical phases of work on a 40-acre expansion at Criterion Catalyst and Technology’s facility in Port Allen.

Sitework:

·    Stripping of new plant area

·    Hauling of 97,000 CY of structural fill

·    Placement of 1,050 tons of lime for roadway stabilization

·    Installation of the following:

     u   136,000 SY of geotextile

     u   57,000 tons of 610 limestone base

     u   40 catch basins

     u   720 LF of 96² corrugated metal pipe (CMP)

     u   160 LF of 60² CMP

     u   3,000 SY of concrete paving

     u   6,210 LF total of HDPE drainage pipe

     u   1,100 precast piles

Civil Phase:

·  Excavation, backfill, and rebar installation

·  Concrete foundations for WPA structure, waste water treatment, RIE unit, and cooling tower

·  Excavation and installation of 6,000 LF of 10-in. HDPE pipe

·  HDPE pipe testing

Mechanical Phase:

·    Erection of 600 tons of structural steel

·    Equipment setting

·    Installation of elevated concrete floor
