James Construction Group was awarded a contract by Ford, Bacon & Davis to perform drainage improvements at Motiva’s facility in Convent, Louisiana.

Project Scope:

·    500,000 CY of excavation

·    Installation of 4,450 LF of box culverts and 7,820 LF of RCP culverts

·    Installation of a concrete stormwater sump

·    Concrete ditch paving; ditch cleanout and regrading

·    Placement of geosynthetics, specifically, geocomposite and geomembrane lining of a 37-acre stormwater retention pond

·    Construction of an underdrain system consisting of 5,000 LF of perforated HDPE pipe and 3,000 LF of underground HDPE pipe

·    Placement of 310 LF of aboveground carbon steel pipe

·    Installation of two mechanical discharge pumps

·    Erection of structural steel

·    Placement of concrete foundations
