Aker Kvaerner/IHI awarded JCG the contract to perform site development for a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) project. The Cameron LNG Terminal, owned by Sempra Energy LNG Corp, is the first new terminal for liquefied natural gas to be built in the United States in more than 20 years.

 

Project Scope:

 

·    Excavation of approximately 600,000 CY

·    Placement of 265,000 SY of geogrid

·    Placement of 350,000 tons of crushed stone

·    Placement of 350,000 CY of clay fill

·    Installation of 1,000 LF of RCP storm drainage pipe

·    Construction of a 25,000 LF silt fence for erosion control
