In May 2006, James Construction Group received a contract from Massachusetts-based Bionol LLC to perform improvements at the Port of Lake Providence. The improvements include construction of a foundation for Bionol’s grassroot 108-million-gallon, state-of-the-art dry mill ethanol plant­—a joint venture of Bionol and the Port of Lake Providence.
